This page explains how New Era Athletics League (the “League”) operates to keep games safe, fun, and fair for everyone participating in our programs, leagues, tournaments, and events—including (but not limited to) NFL Flag Football, OmegaBall Soccer, Pickleball, and Cornhole.
- Team Safety & Liability
Participation in sports involves inherent risks of physical injury. By registering a team and participating in League activities, the Team (including its coaches, staff, and representatives) acknowledges and accepts these risks.
Release of Liability: The Team releases, waives, and discharges New Era Athletics League, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of any injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation.
Team Responsibility: The Team is responsible for the conduct and safety of its individual players and staff and confirms it has secured individual waivers from all participating athletes and their legal guardians.
- Protecting our Community (Non-Compete)
We work hard to build a positive, family-friendly environment. To protect that environment—and to keep League events focused on the kids and the game—teams may not use New Era Athletics League events or communication channels as a platform to promote outside programs that compete with our offerings.
No Promotion of Competing Programs: Teams, coaches, and representatives may not promote, market, advertise, recruit for, or solicit participation in any competing leagues, tournaments, teams, training programs, camps, or other sports programs while participating in, attending, or present at any League event or activity. This includes (without limitation) physical flyers/handouts/business cards/signage/QR codes, digital solicitation (texts, emails, social media posts, DMs, group chats, links), and verbal recruitment or announcements to players, parents, coaches, spectators, or staff.
Non-Solicitation of Participants: Teams may not, during the term of participation and for twelve (12) months thereafter, solicit, induce, or attempt to divert any players, parents, coaches, or sponsors away from New Era Athletics League to join a competing athletic organization.
Respect for League Property & Info: Teams may not use New Era Athletics League branding, logos, or participant contact lists to facilitate the creation or growth of a private or competing league.
- Protecting our Environment for Everyone (Anti-Detrimental Conduct)
We expect everyone to help keep our League welcoming and respectful. Actions that harm the League’s reputation, safety, operations, or community experience are not allowed.
Detrimental Conduct (Online or Offline): Any actions, statements, communications, posts, messages, or other conduct (whether online or offline) that the League, in its sole discretion, deems detrimental to the reputation, operations, safety, or interests of New Era Athletics League—including (but not limited to) disparagement of League officials, harassment, sabotage of League operations, or unauthorized recruitment of League personnel—are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the League without refund.
No “Feeder” Use of League Events: Teams may not use League-sanctioned games or events as a “feeder” system to transition athletes into independent or rival programs without express written consent from League management.
- No Refund Policy
All registration fees are final. New Era Athletics League has a strict no-refund policy for teams and individuals once registration is completed. This applies regardless of participation status, schedule changes, injury, weather cancellations, or removal from the league due to policy violations or disciplinary actions. - Participation Terms
By registering and participating, teams agree to follow all League rules, policies, and codes of conduct, as updated from time to time. Failure to comply may result in discipline, suspension, or removal from the League without refund.
Teams also acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the New Era Athletics League Code of Conduct.
